Hmm… I not sure.

It might actually be a good idea to make it more wiki-like.

At least you could suggest changes, which would then submitted to the moderators/administrators for further validation/correction.

Either way, I would catagorize the current skatespots, because now, spots in cities in Denmark, Germany, the U.S. and The Netherlands are all on the same page.

Wiki-like would be very cool, don’t know if editing/adding should be free to everyone.

What do you mean what page? On the skatespot main page?

Would be cool to appoint moderators to cover a certain region. I would for instance cover Scandinavian countries, but I don’t really have any knowledge about skatespots in other countries. I would imagine that for instance Flare would be a good moderator for the Netherlands…

That might also give some incentive to getting skatespots entered into the system.

What do your thoughts on this?

Well, if I click on skatespots in the menu, a page appears with skatespots like this:

Esbjerg 7
Ålborg 7
London 7
Amsterdam 6

Are these like the last added skatespots? Because I meant that all countries are mixed up on this page. London next to Amsterdam, for example.

Ahh… now I know what you mean.

No – the skatespots on the main skatespot page are listed in order of cities with the most skatespots.

Alternative suggestions to the layout of this page are greatly appreciated!

for example you could have something like this:

Sweden

  • spot 1
  • spot 2

England

  • spot 1
  • spot 2

or at least a function to have spots shown by countries xD

ok it dont work well :P

LinX – David: That’s kind of a problem, since there are for instance 47 cities listed for Denmark and only 8 for Sweden (one of the contries with the most skatespots listed). Furthermore, cities very in skatespot count… Copenhagen has 62 spots, and Malmö in Sweden has 11 (the city the the next-to-highest skatespot count).

But I’ll try to work something out though…

by the way… I formatted your post, so it looks the way you want it :-)

Can we suggest skatespots here? There’s three I can add to Houston, Texas and the surrounding area.
Also, a good way to organize (For the US at least) would be to find the state you wanted, and then the cities listed under that. It’d be way easier to find what you wanted that way.

It’s not so much which place has the most spots, it’s finding the place you are or are going to so you know where there ARE spots, the current set up makes that tricky.)
