I’ve been thinking about buying new skates because I pretty much wore out my old ones. Not very strange since they were some vague model from Rollerblade called “Swindler’s”. Anyway, I was thinking about buying some Razors Cult 7, but now the new model Cult 8 has come out so I’m not quite sure which one to buy. I can’t really find major difference between them except for the color scheme.
Does anyone know any any differences or has any tips on which one to buy?

Welcome to the forum. The cult hasn’t been changed in years, so you’re only buying them for the color scheme (and skins, previous models). There are no differences between the Cult 7 and 8 except for the colors.

Where do you live? I’ve got some Cult 7’s for sale, only skated 4 times in park, complete custom setup and cheap. I’m from the Netherlands too.

I live near Utrecht. So what setup do you have and whats the price? if you live anywhere near I might be interested in buying them since my current skates dont even have proper Soul plates-_-.

Some details; I’ve got for sale a Razors Cult 7 skate (used 4 times) with white Razors frames, (used) 4 Eulogy wheels, brand new black backslideplate (instead of white), Salomon innershoes (very comfy) and a white USD tongue fatmaker. Skate is size L, liners are size 46. I’ve also got the original black Razors liners wich are size 47 but fit like a 45,5. Cults are rather tight fit.

sorry the size is way too large, but I’m going to Burnside Skatepark(Deventer, ken je vast wel) so I might pcik up some new skates there.

No problem, too bad. Cults are good skates but I missed the shockabsorber and I think they’re rather stiff. Burnside merly sells older models by the way.

A friende of mine got the Cults 8’s yesterday and I’m must say they are pretty sick skates. When I tried them on they gave lots of support but very little flex so i wonder wether I’m gonna be able to do topsides with them. I’m going to Burnside tomorrow so I probably will get either the Cults or the Gen’s or USD’s :)

Topsides work fine in them, it just depends on what liner you put in them and how you tighten up your buckle. I could TTS in them no problemo.

I envy Genesys.

I got them today and I must say that these are some sick skates. I haven’t grinded with them yet but the bearings are way faster then my old skates(not suprising since they felt like Abec -5). I’ll try to get some grinds down on them tomorrow and I’ll problably write a short review :).
