So yeah, despite the fact I traded my featherlights for a pair of Fifty/50’s, I’m still going to a review about them. I’ve skated them over 6 months so I guess I can tell you something about them!

So yeah, the first thing I noticed when I unpacked them is how simple and thin they actually look. You can even squeese both sides to eachother, so I was kinda skeptical. Next thing I noticed was offcourse, the weight. These frames are noticable lighter compared to Kizer Fluids of GC Dual Injections. So I put wheels in them, sealed the whole thing up with axles and bolts and I was ready to got. Skate-wise I was in heaven. The groove is, like all GC frames, just perfect for any setup. I preper anti-rocker and it was damn-diggidy perfect. The groove locks on very well, but is not too deep so you can pull switchups off rather easy. (this is one of the problems I used to have when riding Fluids, too deep groove) The frames slides very well and even better then the DI’s. The speeds and durability of the frame can be compared with Kizer fluid. I’ve done gaps over 2m with them and no signs of cracking.

By the way: I’m a size 12 and rode GC featherlights size M. Fits perfect.

Pro’s:
  1. lightweight
  2. fast sliding
  3. perfect ready to use groove
  4. nicely priced
Con’s:
  1. no replaceable hblock
  2. limited color options
