So I’ve skated these for about 3 months now and thought it was time to write a review. The very first thing you’ll notice when you pull them out of the box is how heavy they are. They are a little bit heavier than a razors gen boot and about the same weight or a little less than a valo. This takes some getting used to but it doesn’t take more than a good week of skating. The second thing you’ll notice is that the liner will rub certain parts of your foot and ankle. This is to be expected with any new skate. I modified the inner cuff by cutting it a bit lower and rounding it off. This slved the problem. The liner takes about 2 weeks to break in but it then becomes the most comfortable liner out there. A lot of people have mentioned how the Remz have too much flex. I do NOT agree. I actually ended up putting the v-cut cuff on it to make it flex a little more. The soul plates are huge and extremely fast. The backslide plate is fast but needs a little work to get the groove where it should be. The biggest pain about these skates is maintenence. Getting the liner out and in and removing/replacing the cuff becomes quite a hassle because of the skins. After a few tries you can do it fairly easily but it still requires some skill. All around I would give this skate an 8 out of 10. There are a few things I would change about them but all around this is an amazing skate.

Pro’s:
Easy to lock and grind
Extremely comfortable
Good flex with ankle support
VERY Customizable
Durable
Dyable
Great for park and street

Con’s:
A little on the heavy side
Hard to work on.

Overall Rating: 8/10

Good review. It’s quite remarkable that you modded a thing or two on a rather heavy priced skate.

remz for life mate. the only thing i find with my remz is that after time the liners actually rub on your ankles so much you find it uncomfy(you said that), and they start to wear themselves down(which you didn’t say). in the roughly 11 months iv had these, iv skated 3 frames on them, stock, razors and kiser. i found that kizer is not good for remz. 9/10 for me, and great review.

p.s. i say 9 because after skating classic thrones, i find that theyre pretty light skating cuffless with straps on liner-highly recommended.
