I got these badboys by coincidence; when I ordered my new skates I customized them with a faulthy pair of Able frames who broke the first session. When I contacted the shop (Forward Freestyle) they offered me two options: 1. exchange the faulthy frame for a frame of my choice… 2. Get the same frame from Able + recieving a second hand (skated two times for a shop demo) fifty/50 balance core frames. Offcourse I went for option 2; after all who doesn’t want 3 frames for the price of one?

And now for those who are not interested in my random babbling

I’ve skated these frames for 4 months now, and almost no wearing down! Amazing. They’re hard and fast, so perfect for those everlasting royales on rails. Because of their hardness and alu core the frame doesn’t absorb anything so everything you do is felt in your skates (wich results in a very natural and responsive feel). Because of the alu core I advise these frames to everyone who likes big gaps; they hold up like champs and feel very indestructable.

Pro’s
- Fast
- Hard (very durable and responsive)
- Durable
- Mediocre deep groove (switching up is easy but gives a reliable lock on rails)

Con’s
- Expensive (both the whole frame and replacements)
- Hard (= less comfortable)
- Axles and bolts keep falling out (also a common Kizer problem)
