If you haven’t already submitted your video clip, now is definitely the time to do it. To submit, post a comment to the original video battle announcement article with your videoclip embedded. We prefer that you upload via vimeo as the loss in video quality is large at youtube.

There is no limit. It’s a mysql text field – not a varchar. So this shouldn’t be able to happen.

SkatePro.dk is sponsoring the SkatePro.dk and toxboe.net video battle 2008. The prizes is a pair of skates and a spot on the SkatePro team. There will be 3 winners: one from Norway, one from Sweden, and one from Denmark.

Compete by sending in a 60 second edit of you skating. You can skate everything you like: street, vert, park, whatever – and as many edits as you like. Prices will be shipped to the person who submits the video.

Deadline is September 1st, 2008.
Winners will be announced on September 8th, 2008.

Man – I had that + a normal fishbrain. :-)

Do a fishbrain on that curb and a negative fishbrain on the one above. :-) Then you’ll battle me! – plus – yours weren’t nearly as ugly as mine. It was way too stylish!

did you do some special jump off after that. ?

I’d love to say I did – but just holding it for half a second was hard enough. So it was either 180 or just straight off depending on the balance – I tried it so many times so I can’t remember what I did on this particular picture.

The cool thing about the ledge is that it curves -so if you have enough speed, you can use the curve to stay on it.

I haven’t actually been there yet – although it’s been there for several years now.

But when the Valo team was here a few weeks back, they went to skate it and loved it. So it sounds pretty sweet.

And yes – you can get from Copenhagen to Malmö in 30-40 minutes by train.
