I’ve got an Elite 360 too, though the stuff wich comes with it was pretty good (120 gb HD, HDmi cable, headset, keyboard) so yeah.

Haven’t used the 3month trail yet, as I got no spare internet connection/cable left and I don’t feel like unpluggin my pc.

Actually I use the Xbox for arcade (not THE arcade) games like Burnout, SvsR08, NFS and stuff like that. I do own GTA4 and Halo3, but I play them rarely. For shooters I’d really like mouse aiming, and not a lousy joystick.

Also landed topporn » bs farv » soul through kink 360 out.

Still getting annoyed by the fact that I can’t do the whole ledge ao topporn, that grind is going pretty stable the last couple of times and somehow I just can’t get it to the end…:-(

Yes, that’s why it isn’t exactly an improvement. Yes, you are able to change them with only one allen key. But you can’t put normal 8mm axles in them if you’ve lost a couple of those sickle ones. And GC 8mm axles are sold everywhere for cheap, haven’t seen the sickle axles sold seperately yet.

Win-lose, lose-win.

So I went to Forward a few weeks ago to buy myself a pair of Remz OS2. At first I just wanted the boot only but then I thought about some customizing, and since Forward Freestyle has this great Customizing Room, I thought I’d give it a spin.
After some long and hard thoughts about what to do I ended up with a pair of Remz OS2 with white Jug liners, 4X4 wheels, Vicious Bearings and Morales GC FTL2. This review is about that particular frame.

So alright, I take these badboys out of the box and the first thing to really notice is the lightness. At that moment I was riding G7’s with 50/50 balance core. Those are so heavy compared to the Featherlights! I’ve also had a FTL1 frame lying around so I could really compare them to each other. New on the FTL2 are the sickle axles. Now you only need one allen key to change your frames/bearings. Not that it really matter to me though. What IS an important change, is the fact that the sickle axles go deeper into the frame. Now the chance that you’ll end up grinding on the screw ends is past time. Nice improvement!
Now I have never complained about GC’s H-blocks as they’re fine as always. The FTL2 has a slightly less deeper and a bit wider groove then the first Featherlights. This groove locks on like a mofo, but also causes you to switch your grinds a lot easier. The wideness of the groove could be a good solution for all you flat setup riders, but honestly I think Featherlights are prefect for anti-rocker riding.

Pro’s:
- fast sliding material
- considerable lighter then most frames on the market
- screws/axles deeper into the frame causing less friction
- strong yet durable (durability compareable to fluids)

Con’s:
- thinner then the first edition (how far can they go?)
- sickle screws are not really an improvement
- FTL1’s are better looking imo

I’ve taken your advice and finally bought some Vicious ABEC7 bearings (the fluro green ones). All I can say is WOW!
They’re amazing, fast, spin endless and need minimal maintenance. They’re normally priced compared to other bearing brands but these are worth your money for sure!

Yeah I know, the only thing I’m bitching about is the fact we don’t have a good local. The park in the edit is not too far away (about a 20 minute drive) but I don’t have a good local to go to when I’m out of gas or money.

Yeah, except for the SL. I’ve never and will never ride them. I think they’re ugly and in my size they really look raped. If I go back to Razors again it will be a pair of Geneys, no doubt.

My OS2 are stable enough. Ofcourse I had to get used to them (I was coming from Razors) but that only took like 2 sesions. In the beginning and before I had them I was very sceptical about the cuff and I’d really wanted to change them up for a Razors cuff/ high Jug liner, but when I eventually put them on with the Vcuts, it was all love. I don’t miss my Razors a single bit. I love the way Remz has those bent edges on the soulplates, I was locking ao topporn like crazy last night.

I’m going to do the countersink holes in my soulplate though, like the Cults have. I think the Remz stock plates are kinda slow.

Yah, you can’t ride the OS2 cuffless, but that is the way I prefer it.

The straps are really durable, I skate my Remz three times a week the last 3 weeks now and I haven’t touched any of them in skating. And they’re so much better then Xsjado straps also!

OS2 also comes with the stock Jugs Precise liner, a tight leather liner wich locks your foot like a lion on safari.

For the rest, not much difference. Either you like it fat and cuffles (0803) or skinny and tight (OS2). The reason I bought OS is because the skinned Remz are too fat for my liking. Thats all.

Can’t really help you on this one since I’ve never ridden any USD (I hate them) but I did put Duals on my Salomons, bought one size up.

Realm soul plates are sold in the sizes XXS (3-4), XS(5-6), S(7-8), M(9-10), L(10,5-11), XL(11-13)
